ShanTour 杉途
Mount Emei is more than just a scenic hike—it's a sacred pilgrimage steeped in over two thousand years of Buddhist history. As one of China’s Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains, Emei is home to countless ancient temples, serene monasteries, and the legendary Golden Summit, where the giant statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva watches over the clouds. Over two days, you’ll walk the same forested paths once taken by monks and pilgrims, surrounded by the sound of chanting, the scent of incense, and the profound stillness of nature.
This journey offers not only breathtaking views, but also a deep connection to the spiritual heart of Chinese Buddhism in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Itinerary

Full Description
Morning: Visit Chengdu Giant Panda Base
We will carefully select the most suitable and engaging tour route based on the pandas’ habits and the current crowd levels at the zoo.
This will help visitors avoid unnecessary waiting time and increase the chances of seeing active giant pandas or baby pandas on display.

Lunch: Enjoy Local Cuisine in Leshan
We will recommend the best local delicacies based on everyone’s preferences (vegan option is possible). If the group chooses to dine at the same restaurant, the guide will assist with ordering to ensure that everyone can enjoy the most authentic flavors. Leshan is famous for its food in Sichuan!
Afternoon: Visit the Leshan Giant Buddha
Leshan Giant Buddha is the world's largest sitting Buddha statue, which is about 71 meters high and crafted out of a cliff face. We will take you to the famous Three Rivers Convergence Viewing Platform to enjoy a panoramic view of the Giant Buddha. Afterward, you will explore the scenic area of Leshan Giant Buddha, with our in-depth commentary about its history and more about Buddhist culture and carving art.
